Domino's Stuffed Crust

Photo of a Domino's stuffed crust pizza with pepperoni and green peppers.

Domino's has a new stuffed crust pizza option, and as a fan of both Domino's and stuffed crust pizzas I had to try it!

Every stuffed crust pizza is surprisingly very different, and this one is no exception. While I've always felt the Pizza Hut stuffed crust is the default experience, this is a different but excellent pizza. Some pizzas don't do well with the stuffed crust addition, especially when the crust itself is mediocre, but this is a great new take on the traditional Domino's crust and I love it.

It's really, really good. An extra $4 is worth it if you love stuffed crust.

Maverik Pepperoni

Photo of cheese breadsticks in a cardboard box.

I've been told by a few people recently that I need to try the pizza at Maverik. I didn't expect much, but it's actually really pretty good! $3.29 for a slice is a bit much, but it's quick and convenient, and better than any other gas station pizza I've had.

I also tried the Detroit-style cheese sticks. They're not bad, but not anything special. Still better than any of the breadsticks at Domino's though.

Slices-N-Stix Bacon – Little Caesar's

There are more options than just the pepperoni pizza with plain , so this time around I got a Slices-N-Stix with bacon! It's pretty good, though I think I prefer the plain cheese bread, the bacon is a bit much.

Definitely worth trying!

Village Baker – Stromboli Pizza

A different pizza from last time, also catered lunch from my work. This one's pretty good! I think my ideal pizza would be somewhere between the two, since an all-meat pizza isn't really my preference, but the white sauce on the last one wasn't really for me either.

A supreme pizza with a bit of meat and a bit of veggies on a tomato-based sauce is really my ideal pizza ,but this one is quite good!

Magical Pizza Gummies

Sure, this counts as a pizza.

They're okay, nothing great. They don't taste like pizza but they're sugar and something else that is fine but not great.

But I saw “pizza” and I'm me, so that happened.

Motor City Pizza Co. – Detroit-Style Deep Dish Pepperoni

I generally like a Detroit-style Deep Dish. I've never been big on the Chicago style, but the Detroit style with the thick crust can be really good when done well.

This one is pretty good! The photo on the box looks horrible, but the actual pizza turned out really nice. Good amount of cheese and pepperoni, and while the crust is very basic it's not bad. Overall I'm fairly happy with this one and will probably be having it again.

Red Baron Fully Loaded Pepperoni Pizza

It's okay. If you like thicker pizzas with a fairly dry crust you'll probably like it, but it's not really for me. When I'm going for a thicker crust I'd prefer something softer like a Freschetta rising crust pizza.
